Day 1: Early morning arrival, the world famous Blue Lagoon & Northern Lights Geothermal Spa - Reykjavik - Icelandic Cuisine at its best Upon arrival at Keflavik airport, you take a transfer to the Blue Lagoon where you can bathe in its rich mineral waters. Soothed and relaxed, head to Reykjavik and check in at your hotel. Enjoy the evening out in Reykjavik and dine in one of many excellent restaurants in the city. After your dinner, you will be picked up at your hotel's designated tour bus stop and begin the northern light hunt! The evenings in Iceland are cold, so be sure to bring warm clothing with you to enjoy the evening searching for northern lights. National Park (UNESCO) - Spouting Geysers - Majestic Waterfall Discover three of the most outstanding attractions in the south of Iceland on a fully-guided coach excursion. The first stop is at Thingvellir National Park, then onward to the Gullfoss waterfall and the Geysir geothermal area. Possible to add on a snow and glacier activity. In the evening, enjoy dinner in a nice restaurant and you might see the northern lights displaying their beauty again in the sky! Lava Tunnel Tour - Reykjavik City Center After breakfast at your hotel, you will proceed outside of the city to Raufarholshellir Cave where you will join the guided tour of the lava tunnel. Explore one of the longest and best-known lava tubes in Iceland which provides a great opportunity to view all of the spectacular inner workings of a volcanic eruption! This year was formed by the Leitahraun eruption, which occurred east of the Bláfjöll Mountains approximately 5200 years ago. During the winter season incredible ice sculptures are formed at the entrance of the cave making the journey even more enjoyable! In the afternoon experience walking Laugavegur and explore all of the quirky boutiques that offer all kinds of souvenirs that are ideal of friends and family back home!
