Day1. Welcome to Iceland
Approximate distance: ca. 51 Km
Pick your car at the KEF international airport. Your Iceland Self- drive adventure trip will begin from here. On the way you can visit the famous Blue Lagoon, or drive directly to Reykjavík.

Day 2: Golden Circle Tour
Approximate distance: ca. 200km
Your first stop is at Thingvellir National Park. Thingvellir is an amazing site, steeped in history and folklore, and surrounded by incredible geology. Thingvellir is the only place on earth which tectonic plates can be seen above ground. Next stop is Geysir Geothermal Area which is dotted with many hot pools, clay pots, and fumaroles and Gullfoss waterfall which is located in a plunging, ancient valley, this powerful falls tumbles down two drops, from an overall height of 105 ft. Before you drive to The south visit the impressive volcanic crater, Kerið. In the evening you can go out to hunt the northern lights if the weather conditions allows.

Day 3: Glacier Lagoon and Ice cave
Approximate distance: ca. 142km
After breakfast before you heading to Glacier lagoon, you can make a stop at Fjarðárgjlúfur canyon which just located at Kirkjubæjarklaustur. You’ll be visiting the southern area of Vatnajokull National Park, named after Europe’s largest glacier. The total park area covers almost 14% of Iceland, making it the largest national park in Western Europe! Drive through vast sand plains created by glacial outwashes as you head east. Visit Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon where you can enjoy the breath-taking sight of icebergs floating in the fantastic 180m (591 ft.) deep glacial lagoon (make sure that camera is loaded and ready!) Nearby is the dramatic beauty of the Diamond Beach, where shrinking icebergs settle on the black sands before they drift out to sea. You will experience natural unique ice caves in the wonders of Vatnajökull glacier, Europe’s largest ice cap. The tour is intended for those who want to visit an ice cave, get great photo opportunities and an unforgettable experience.
Next, you’ll view Svinafellsjokull, one of the most beautiful glacial “tongues” that are slowly creeping down from Vatnajokull. Visit the national park’s famous Skaftafell area, a site of outstanding natural beauty dominated by several magnificent glaciers. In the evening you can go out to hunt the northern lights if the weather conditions allows.

Day 4: Exploring The South Shore
Approximate distance: ca. 240km
Today you'll visit the waterfalls of the south shore, where you can walk behind Seljalandsfoss waterfall, and climb the stairs to get an even greater view of Skogafoss Waterfall. At Reynisfjara, a black sand beach and seabird colonies you'll see Reynisdrangar, pillars of rock rising majestically out of the ocean. In the evening you can go out to hunt the northern lights if the weather conditions allows.
Optional activities: Glacier walk on Solheimajökull, Snowmobile on Mýrdalsjökull Glacier.
Day 5: Back to Reykjavík
Approximate distance: ca. 376 KM
Today you will drive back to Reykjavik. After you arrival Reykjavik you can explore the history of Reykjavik by visiting museums, Hallgrimskirkja church and Harpa Music Hall & Conference center. In the evening it's great to take a walk down Laugavegur and explore restaurants, bars and different boutiques. You can join in Northern lights hunt tour if you did´n see Northern lights in countryside of just soak in warm geothermal baths before leaving Iceland.

Accommodation: Reykjavík or Keflavík
Day 6: Departure
Approximate distance: ca. 51 Km
