Iceland has so many wonderful restaurants, cafés and other places for light snacks. Most of them are very kid-friendly and it's specially good to be early in the evening if you are out dining with the kids! 

These are the kid-friendly spots we recommend during your stay in Iceland.
Reykjavik City

Cafés, Burgers and Light Snacks

• Tommi's Burger Joint  Geirsgötu - for their fab burgers and great béarnaise sauce
• Gló  Laugavegi - for their veggie meals and other great dishes GF/RAW
• The Hot Dog Stand - the one and only!
• Te & Kaffi - good cup of tea/coffee and yummy cakes
• Valdís Ice-cream - for their gelato made in-house with fresh Icelandic milk, they make dairy free sorbets too!
• Brauð & Co. - artisan bakery, famous for their delicious cinnamon buns
• Osushi - for their sushi on a train (Yo! Sushi of Iceland)
• Joe and the Juice - coffee, juice and delicious grilled sandwiches, kids love it
• Bakarí Sandholt - artisan bakery and coffee house 
• Reykjavik Roasters - great café  
• Icelandic Fish & Chips - fish’n chips with organic spelt
• Flóran -  located in the Botanical gardens of Reykjavík, which inspires the menu. Open May to October, and again during Christmas. Incredible food and vegetables not to mention the cakes

• Snaps Bistro - a great french Bistro (very popular, they reserve tables until 18:30 only, there are a few walk in tables available too)

• Garðurinn Klapparstígur - vegetarian meals made by staff who practice meditation
